Would there still be a remote chance of an update for RimWorld 1.4 after the upcoming 1.5 becomes the dominant version most players use?

Am I the only one with this kind of error? It seems that the artificial meat that I can make on these doesn't have a storage definition, and as such unless I put the crafting station somewhere already freezing, the meat will go nowhere but on the floor.

Evidently machnock's not the only one that is getting issues from this.

Long story short, full re-install, slowly rebuilding my modlist, finally found the source of my issues.
None other than a new addition to my old modlist which I won't really miss anyway (and half-started the purge to begin with.)

Even tried launching as minimally as possible without errors/warnings (Core and Ultratechnology) after another full wipe and install, and it's still doing the single settlement generation issue, as provable with setting the worldgen option "Population" to "Crowded".

Ultimately no skin off my back to let this mod go and move on.

@machnoch try verifying the installation of your game. And if all else fails, reinstall all your mods. Usually that's a sign of a corrupted file, not an error in mod design.

yes only with this mod. i seem to be getting a lot of errors unique to me lately

@machnock have you launched the game with only this mod active to verify that? I haven't experienced that before with this mod, so I'm certain it's another mod.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but whenever raiders are using the laser weapons it drops my game to 1fps until that person is dead or disarmed

@machnock I have been receiving these exact errors, and it isn't anything to worry about. Just some XML problems that I have to iron out, but it doesn't affect gameplay in any way.

you need more prints to make the mod more attractive, otherwise it just looks like a meme mod that adds unused work to the research table

@Thundercraft it is intentionally ambitious. I do not plan to finish this mod for a long time, so I'm going to be working on it and learning for a while to get everything done. Sorry if that came out as word vomit, I'm currently multitasking.

That sounds like a pretty big ambition, especially since the ones I mentioned are large mods that have been worked on for several years by several people. Just saying... You're working on this solo, right?

@Thundercraft I've never played with either of those mods so I can't say for certain, but I am certain that my plans will overlap with many mods. So, because there's a potentially massive amount of incompatible mods, I do not plan on providing any special compatibility. But, hopefully, this mod will eventually contain so much it could plausibly replace those mods. Sorry if anything I've said is disappointing.

Can you say whether your plans for this mod may end up having some overlap with the Science Never Stops: Ambition of the Cosmic research and high technology mod? Or, perhaps there will be similarities or overlap with the Antimatter Annihilation mod?

Also, have you considered having a bit of research support for either of the above mentioned mods? By that I mean, depending on whether the player has either of those mods installed and whether certain projects belonging to those have been researched or certain things built, it may change how your mod behaves slightly (such as unlocking certain things or completing certain projects faster)?

For those curious what this mod has, the Trello states that as of now it has Laser weapons, a Synthesis Table, Chempoly (not sure what that means), Craftable Plasteel and Synthread, Simple Mechanites and Artificial meats. Still, it would be nice to see some pics or something to make it easier, but for now, I would recommend waiting.

really weird way to write "Ultratechnology", for some reason when I saw it I was thinking of norse mythology.
