its the map nitpick that just makes this unusable, atleast make the icon for the map just regular soul hearts/black hearts instead of just red hearts

I tried to add compatibility with the MinimapAPI, and it worked for some time, but then it stopped and I couldn't figure out why, and none of my betters in modding community could tell me why, so I don't really know what to tell you.

The icons for the minimap don't work for the same reason it has no bag of crafting compatibility I think so it won't change @DropOfNicotine

Don't know if it's a known issue, but for Bag of Crafting any new dual hearts: be it soul or black they are treated as one red heart. I'd just want to know if there is a possibility to treat them differently, if not it's a good mod anyway!

With the current modding API, making custom pickups compatible with the bag of crafting is impossible.

Perhaps another theory could be the load order of the two mods, so perhaps swapping them around could give a different result?

They are different from the very beginning. Capricious heart id is 93, half black heart id is 605. This bug defies all laws of logic. I killed half a day yesterday trying to find a reason for it to no result.

I think if you change the ID for half black hearts to be different from capricious hearts, it will be fixed. A similar bugged occurred with Epiphany and Rep+, so I think that would be the fix.

The bag of crafting doesn't consider any custom pickups to be valid. That is just how bug of crafting is.

I tried everything I could think of to find the reason for this stuff with capricious heart, but even when I turn off literally all code from this mod, it is still happening, so I don't know how to fix it.

Rep+ dev doesn't seem to be interested in investigating this issue, so I guess you'll have to deal with capricious hearts looking like half black hearts while this mod is on. I'll keep thinking what could be causing this, but I'm all out of options.
