mao_is_eternal It's a feature: the better castles u have, the less ashigaru:AngrySword: u can have, so u can make more samurai(especially cav samurai) :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong or just missed the information, but why is it that the bigger you get the less yari ashigaru you can recruit? i have like 15 provinces with low development as to not upgrade the farms, but i can only have 7 yari ashigaru max?

Drago Antico, Ai still cheats but has the same unit limitations as the player. I think it works fine. In this mod Player becomes similar to Ai: it builds dojos in each city while Player build only in province with blacksmith. Now you are forced to build like Ai. Thanks to this, Ai continues to do as before and reaps benefits. Personally, I noticed different variants of cavalry in Ai armies for the first time :)

wait so if i have early game level 3 castle with only 4 provinces that are at lvl 1-2. does that mean im still going to have less ashigaru globally available to recruit?

That's cool! Really helps to keep my Ashigaru only at early stages. Later on reminds me to upgrade to higher tier troops. Thanks
