DEs shouldn't do anything special with icons as far as I'm aware, so it should work unless there's a clash with another mod. Although I don't know of any other mod that edits them.

It has be uploaded and removed by the original author a couple of times. I haven't used the mod myself since it originally came out due to it being a bit heavy handed, so I haven't followed the recent status of it. But a quick search shows that various reuploads and alternative versions are still available.

No idea. Try moving this mod to the top of the load order in the mod launcher.

does unique faction UI mod overwrite this? I havent been able to see the gold border on items crafter with the fusion mod

Sorry, I have no plans to make a fusing mod of my own.

Would be great if you can return the old variant where you can fuse all items till gold tier, as it was in that mod

good idea. only saw this one today. i was using improved fusion for ages, its great, but now been taken down and replaced with a lite version where you cannot steal lords weapons...and.....it appears there are no more gold legendary items. I dont know what Im going to do without my squeak squeak button! dont suppose you could wizard up a mod that brings them back?

Well technically there isn't in the vanilla game. You shouldn't ever see them normally unless you are using a mod, like Advanced Item Fuse, that adds them. Otherwise you won't see them until Immortal Empires drops and the High Elves and Wood Elves get them.

Dude, I'm gonna be honest, I simply did not know there was a gold tier. I have been scrapping gold tier items and not paying attention since launch apparently.
