Have to correct myself about the Ancestral Warriors, I first thought the Mod was causing this Issue. But its actually a Graphic Bug currently in the Game. I tested this with and without any kinds of Mods. So sorry about this false report.

Have this as well, Ancestral Warriors from the Compass also suffer from this. Before 5.0 update I didn't had this Issue, so it must be Bug that came out with the last update of this mod.

Yeah loos like a lot of the RoR units don't have heads. Good mod hope you can find the time too update.

The Dune Dragons and Jade War Drum models currently don't have a body, just the heads. Not sure if this was messed up by the update or has been like that for a while.

@RedWind They're biologically and psychologically unsuitable to violent / dangerous professions. They're specialized for some tasks, whereas men are specialized for others. It's not discrimination, it's evolution.

if you ever do model male ranged units for cathay please do upload it. Im sure youll have a handful of people scratching at your eyes for virtue points but many of us would prefer a less feminized Cathay. Please do consider it!

nvm, figured it out. Turns out i had forgotten to remove a steam command in the properties tab that disabled mods.

I dunno about anyone else, but even with this mod enabled the units seem mixed gender. Didnt used to have this issue. Unless its a custom battle problem

Female warriors in Kislev makes way more sense due to its climate and low population. Sometimes you need every men and women you can get to fight against chaos, that's why there are Ice Guards 100% believable. Cathay in the other hand makes little sense specifically the mixed units, there are so many problems when it comes to male and female fighting shoulders to shoulders in a group. Not because of the combat prowess but because there is a chance that they'll mate with each other and that is a BIG deal. If a female soldiers becomes pregnant not only there'll be complication with other male soldiers but also with the whole logistics as-well. Like would they just send her back to her home? if she stays there will be a baby in a freaking military camp! Imagine half your army is a female, that'll be a logistics nightmare. Completely ruins immersion.

Good point. I think it would actually be cool if every unit could fly,whether it has wings or not. It's a world of dragons and demons after all, who cares.

But in all seriousness, humans in Warhammer are still like humans in the real world, as there is nothing making one believe the contrary. And I obviously know that the WH world is not realistic in a strict sense of the word, that's why I used inverted commas. I just like it to make sense and be consistent.

I'd love a mod like that, making Cathay more traditional and "realistic" in a way, like the other human factions in Warhammer.
No need to feel like a villain at all. People made all female rosters for Warhammer 2 all the time, and nobody complained. But somehow if you make something like that in the other direction, it's bad?
It's a double standard, not withstanding the fact having an army of male soldiers is so much more sensible, from a historical standpoint, which Warhammer obviously draws huge inspiration from, and just from the way we humans are sexually dimorphic creatures as well, with men being made to be fighters and protectors.
So to cut a longwinded comment short, don't worry about what some crazy people would say, I know that I and many others would really like such a "complete Cathayan army rework" mod. It would be great if you made it.

Funny, I did exactly the same thing. I didn't upload it because... well I'd likely get shot.
Next is to change all female models to male. But I didn't do that either because it felt overkill.
