In config file add "--" before "config.limbInWater" to turn off camera rotation in water
(dont try breaking limb name, "LimbType.anytextbesidesactualllimbname" will work but it will flood your console with errors when submerged)
in "config.cutoff" values under 0.25 break submarine editor camera
however, i do recommend setting it at 0 since it really does add spice to intense situations (at 0.25 it just makes you feel each step, a bit annoying imo)

6/10 with water rotation (fun but unplayable)
8/10 if you are sub architect (im tired of hotswapping cutoff between 0 and 0.65)
11/10 for average joe (with 0 cutoff for funni)

Hey can I publish a version of your mod that only rotates your cam when you ragdoll rather than for swimming and ragdolling?

weird box thing that limits your how far your view goes with enhanced immersion zoom, otherwise just kind of a weird mod that only really makes your life much harder but fun for a few minutes

I haven't coded an in game method of turning it on/off yet, for now I'm on a break from modding but if anyone wants to release a version with GUI or reused the code before I get back I have no problems with that

After turning this mod off my camera stays the same: rotating when ragdolled, underwater, etc. This stays like this unless i turn off lua, which i need for a good portion of my mods. Can you fix this Starry?

I was thinking of making this mod but you beat me to it! I set up the config.rotatingKeys to true (it is defaulted to off) and have been having a complete blast with it. It's exactly how I wanted it.

It's very immersive and makes one wish not to let water in, making cave systems scarier also. I enjoy it immensely. Thanks for making it! :captainclown::ss13ok:

In windows, config.lua should be in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\2787984747"

The easiest way to turn it off right now is with config.lua file in the mod's folder, but I hope to add GUI similar to performance fix where you can turn it off in the settings

would be nice if mouse worked properly with this too, if you're aiming underwater your character will constantly rotate since your rotation changes based on your aim direction in vanilla

As long as the mod doesn't mess around with the camera code, then there shouldn't be any conflict

@Uncovered_Jager It should uninstall if you unsubscribe on the workshop, this is the main way to uninstall things.
If it does not uninstall please let me know so I can fix this, and delete the mod manually, by removing the folder C:\Users\Current User\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\2787984747

@Scar I had a problem where the mod didn't run correctly in multiplayer and I didn't realize because I was running a local version of the mod that worked fine which is why it was dormant for so long because the public version didn't work, I fixed it by releasing the update I thought I released months ago
