Hello there seems to be a small unintended conflict with the designator shapes mod, in a way that brings up the base vanilla shapes window forcefully, even if it is disabled within the former's mod settings. Would it be possible to have the vanilla shapes window be an optional thing by any chance or be able to disable it?

this is literally a must have for me everytime now

Mod Version: 1.6.0.1 (Unsure if I'm out of date, I unsubbed and resubbed to try and force any updates.)

- The default keys still seem to be set to Q and T which seem to interact with things strangely. (Vanilla Shape Designations and Beauty Overlay hotkey.) I know there's a patch that says this was changed for the 1.6 beta, but when clicking Reset to Default it does QT again.)

- Using pipette doesn't bring up architect menu, which before was fine, but right now I don't know which makes me unable to know what shape I'm using, this has lead to a fair few confusing scenarios. I don't know if specific shapes are default for some commands or not, Maybe ensure that when using pipette only square shape is chosen, or open the menu so people can see that new feature exists?

The default for copying floors seems to be line instead of fill rectangle/square

Update for 1.6 beta.

- Support copying plans.
- Support expanding and shrinking zones.
- Support copying bridge and removing bridges.
- Default key set to C to prevent the conflict with vanilla.

Your current hotkey preference won't be changed so you may have to set it yourself once.

eh hem. i have a couple hours in this game, and i have never seen this mod. this makes me sad. im going to add it now, and see if i can delete years of muscle memory from my brain. thank you.

This mod is amazing.

I am playing a tree loving colony and having to manually designate trees to be uprooted is tedious and horrible. This made it actually reasonable to do.

@StarlightSovereign What's the expected behaviour? For some technical reasons, it can't copy the floor designator. Can you activate it when hovering over other things?

No, just hovering over floor tiles.

@StarlightSovereign Do you have any item or tab selected when pressing the key? If so, it should do nothing.

So I put this in my modlist my girlfriend and I are using and we're not able to get it to work. We rebound the key in the menu (in my case, to 5 and in her case to T) and when we press this button, nothing happens.

I can provide whatever is helpful, modlist, logs, etc, but since Hugslib logs aren't working, you tell me what is useful to you and I'll provide it!

With regards to the error I'm not sure exactly how to reproduce it, it seemingly begins to occur at random with the only fix being a full game restart.

刚刚又开了个档试了一下，在选的时候再按一下Q键矩形就填满的，抱歉打扰了

爱不释手，但又和Designator Shapes冲突，划出来的范围是一个菱形，每次都要重新选那个矩形命令，多了一步操作，和我用来更快捷操作的本意矛盾了，好难受。还是要感谢大佬！

Build copy command is added to the start of the queue now. Due to some technical difficulties, this feature won't work for floors and carpets.

+1 to what @Mute said, would be a great addition, especially for things like floors etc.

Would it be possible to add "build same" to the cycle when pressing Q on a building?

@RedPine However, this mod doesn't touch anything about zooming. When you selected something the Q shortcut will correctly rotate it. By the way, you can rebind the hotkey both in xml and game keyboard configuration.

If you are unable to zoom in or out without having a menu open or selecting something, try removing this mod.

Also, this mod does not appear to have any way to change it's keybinding, which is a problem as Q/E are the default rotate keybindings. There's no config or XML that I can find.

Quite intuitive, easy to use, very well made. Shaves off a lot of time clicking tabs and with proper time becomes second nature, leaving you to wonder why it's not in vanilla...
