@Hedin7 I've been trying your suggestion + Disabling steam overlay completely and Reinstalling Direct X, still none of these work. I'm at the end of my rope now, the weirdest thing is that I've been using your mods for the past years with New Balance and there has not been any problem until yesterday. I will download older version of the mod to see if it works.

Additionally, try turning off the Steam input system in the Gothic settings and deleting dinput.dll in \steamapps\common\Gothic II\system

@Hedin7 I've just checked using Vanilla G2 in workshop branch and only subscribe to 2 mods. Union Patch and your inventory mod. Just like you said the same error occured. Let me double check the vcredist, they might've been installed incorrectly by steam

Does the same inventory plugin work in other mods and the original? If not, then you need to look at the reason, perhaps vcredist is not installed.

I don't even know what to say, I need more information. What version of New Balance, what version of inventory. What system? (linux/windows/ etc.) What version of Gothic did you install it on? If possible, ask the question in the New Balance or inventory thread on the forum and attach screenshots of the installed folders.

@Hedin7 the problem I'm having has nothing to do with GRawInput, it's the game refusing to start the moment I put the Hedin_Union_Adv_Inventory.vdf file inside the Data folder.

My advanced and simple (list) inventory should work normal with New Balance. But for New Balance you must use GRawInput, otherwise there may be problems with the mouse, regardless of the inventory. If your game immediately closes, you may have incorrectly installed GRawInput. Try manually setting "EnableWrapper = 0" in systempack.ini

I can't get this version of this mod to work with New Balance, installing the mod cause the game to not start. I tried using the mod file from Myrtana.net to do a manual install but no luck also. Is there anyway you can help?

То есть панель модов вышла, но когда нажимаю играть - запускается готика 2 ночь ворона ( там все моды работают), но мне нужно, чтобы запускалась классическая готика 2 ( с Вашими модами)

Это не иероглифы, а русские буквы. Плагин отображает русский текст, потому что у тебя бардак в systempack.ini. Ты пытаешься играть в английскую версию, а в systempack.ini у тебя стоит
[CORE]
Language = RUS

Либо поставь русские шрифты, либо ставь Language = ENG
Если ставить ENG, то потом в gothic.ini удали всю секцию [ADV_INVENTORY]
После первого запуска появится англ. текст.

П.С. Ну и еще я бы не рекомендовал плагин zUtilities. Блин, заблокировать что ли одновременную работу моего инвентаря с этим комбайном.

Great mod but is there an option to move item descriptions around? I made the scale a bit bigger so I have an easier time looking for items but now the item tooltip is clipping with the inventory.

Только не редактируй никогда gothic.ini виндовым блокнотом, ибо он ломает кодировки и потом могут быть проблемы в игре у многих плагинов. Лучше используй что-нибудь типа notepad++

Toullaf, этот плагин в основном для больших модов типа Одиссеи и Нового Баланса, где несколько тысяч типов разных предметов. В ванили их около 120 чтоли, там по категориям то разбивать нечего. Обычные вкладки ты е отключишь, только порядок можешь поменять.
В твоей случае достаточно будет выключить показ категорий и категорию ALL поставить на 1 место, то есть вместо

Поиграв немного показалось что категорий предметов слишком много, для ванили.
Одежда и кольца могли быть в одной категории. Свитки и руны так же можно было бы объединить. Травы можно переместить во вкладку зелий. А еду и алкоголь оставить, пусть будут отдельно, т.к. они в основном мешаются на средних и поздних этапах игры.

Можно как-то отключить функционал вкладок полностью? А не только иконки. Немного утомляет, что игра постоянно открывает мне вкладку новых предметов когда я хочу полечиться.

Nevermind, I seem to have accused your plugin to early
I did get a noticeable bump in fps after disabling it but it has since returned to 25fps and have to conclude UAI isn't at fault
I do play with DX11 renderer, that's how I'm tracking my fps

It's not a mod, it's a plugin. Are you experiencing a drop in FPS when your inventory is open or even closed? When the inventory is closed there should be no effect and you should not see any difference in FPS. When the inventory is open, the plugin may take a little more FPS than the standard inventory of Gothic. Note that original inventory of Gothic in some situations can also lower fps.
In any case, on weak computers I would not recommend using any plugin, including this one. Any plugin can take away a little fps and it's more noticeable on weaker computers.

P.S. Well, if you play without DX11, I advise you to try to play with it. With DX11 FPS is usually higher and more stable.

in my current game I can't get above 25fps but when I start a new game I get 60 fps no issue
tried selling a bunch of stuff but that didn't fix the problem either

Не знаю, первый раз слышу о такой проблеме. Видимо конфликтует с вашим модом или каким-то другим плагином. Нужно больше информации в какой мод играете и какие плагины и текстур паки стоят. Можете сами поотключать другие моды и плагины и если проблема исчезнет, то напишите с чем конфликтует, подумаем что делать.

@LordGwynbleidd new game in Odyssee mod fix a lot of problems with wrong textures and materials of mod (invisible items, ...). Not always, but often enough. It is quite possible that these incorrect textures and materials additionally drain the fps in my inventory. If it helps, then good. In Odyssey, it is sometimes worth doing this as a preventative measure. In Odyssey, there is also a compatibility issue between Odyssey and DX11, sometimes NPCs become invisible. I tried selling a lot of items, but it didn't helped much (even tho the problem occured after opening bags with gold), but I checked the trick with the new game and it worked. Thank you for the advice, I will keep that in mind if the issue will occur again (I am playing on DX11 and the error is on this version too)

Also, another piece of advice, if you have a lot of items, try selling the extra. There are a lot of items in Odyssey, up to three thousand different items.

But if you always drop more than 70 fps, then maybe there are conflicts with other plugins and mods. Try to disable everything you can for experiment and leave only inventory and Odyssey.

This inventory is more complex and demanding than the simple Gothic inventory and the fact that fps drops when the inventory is open a little more than in the original is normal. Usually can fall depending on the places where the hero is and the number of items from 10 to 50 fps. I've played Odyssey many times and it was always like this.

Hi, I'm playing Odyssey with this mod, and I've noticed that my FPS started to get really low when the mod is enabled. I thought it was maybe due to some complications with zUtilities, but even without it, the mod is causing a massive performance issue (27fps from 100fps). Is there any solution for this?

Хм... вчера я кое-что проверял с читами и заспавнил волка с этим модом. При открытом инвентаре он почему-то просто стоял и смотрел. Может это просто в режиме читов такая штука? Сейчас я просто запустил игру и открыл инвентарь - мир не остановился. Крутяк!
Ещё бы вариантов текстур накинуть для инвентаря (а конкретно сами ячейки в невыбранном состоянии, ведь некоторые предметы на их фоне слабо видно).
По сути лучший мод на инвентарь. Задолбало копаться в инвентаре из тонны предметов. Теперь хотя-бы по категориям можно искать, так ещё и поиск есть.

Но что бы покрутить камеру вокруг героя и посмотреть допустим доспех, вы можете просто зажать колесико мышки(или зажать правый шифт) и крутить.

Мир не может останавливаться, такой функции нет в плагине. Время идет, нпс ходят. Либо у вас что-то еще стоит что останавливает мир, либо вы имеете ввиду что камера не крутится вокруг ГГ и фиксируется положение героя. Если про положение героя, то это нормально, иначе движение мышкой будет его крутить.

При открытом инвентаре мир останавливается как-бы )
