Go to you Key Settings, press by Walk the del key, assign it new (right shift for example). Make the same by Sprint for left shift. Tada you can use left shift ;)

For anyone having issues changing the keybinds (since the author is not able to give an answer in clear English), try changing the Gothic.ini file.

Ctrl+F and search for "Ninja_Sprint_UseKey"

and change the value so it looks like this:

Ninja_Sprint_UseKey=2a00

This is left shift. Obviously change the "walk" key in your Gothic settings to something else. I used ALT. You're welcome.

Das Sprinten selber geht wunderbar.
Ich spiele die Mod Legends of Ashun, vielleicht gibt es deswegen Probleme?

Sadly it's not working as it should. I changed the default keys for walking/sprinting like RSHIFT for walking and LSHIFT for running but nothing has changed. Dunno what to do more.

For some strange reason this mod and the patch menu is always disabled when launching the workshop mod launcher, its not a big deal but its a little annoying having to turn them on everytime I launch the game

Edit: I checked the sprint.vdf file, there are 2 keys defined. RSHIFT doesn't do anything, but COMMA is defined too and works.

Half works. You can't use Shift for this (either one). The only way to make it work is to turn the first setting (button press one) to Off in the patch menu. Your char will then sprint (but all the time, no way to not sprint).

Have you deactive right shift button?

it only works if you make it perma sprint, no keybind works

You can set the animation itself in optiones -> Mode
Standard is Gothic, ALternative is a smoother but slower Animation and AL Fast ist the same but a little bit faster (not so fast as Vanilla) Remaster ist only for Remastered Sprint (Definitive Edition for example) or as fallback

Very strange, it is the right file and you cant find "Sprint" or something like this?

I cant find the "nostalgic.ini" all documents I can find are "nostalgic_de.ini (in different languages) or NosstalgicEdition.ini.
But there is no document where I can delete any "sprint" or something like that...

All I can find is in the "nostalgic_de.ini

startet a fresh G2 NotR run last week and wanted to play the "Nostalgic" Version. But this Mod (in combination with Ninja and Path Menu) did not allow the game to start... anyone with the knowledge, why Nina and Nostalgic are not working? I saw a video of someone playing the game 3 month ago with Nostalgic and Ninja.

Since yesterday I get an access violation when loading saves while this mod is enabled. It worked before.

that didn't fixed the issue my char only walks instead running.no matter what key i select for sprint.

You need to change your slow walk key.(Default left-shift sadly)

When i select mode that it's activated on key instead running my character starts to slow walk on pressing that key.Changing keys in options does nothing when i press it my character just walks.Mod only works when i got running all the time mode selected.

You mean you wish to change the run key? The yes, you can configure the key in the normal key settings from gothic, is one of the Last options.

Ok my bad xD I have forgotten to define the Folder in my Upload "app", so he do nothing since many many many updates then i start the upload app for ALL my Patches xD Now it work's fine :D
