So im using this mod for the advent is combine "combine intervention" but there weapons are invisible and I was wondering how to fix that

did the mod break or something? its no longer appearing the the re-skin menu and I have tried re-installing the mod, but still wont work (Yes, I have confirmed its enabled in the mod menu)

So, I see no way to turn the owned filter "Off", only "Visible/Hidden by default and enabled/disabled" by default. What constitutes an "OFF" state?

Hey @Rebecca! Basically, these are templates that can be used to apply skins and sounds to your weapons in-game! They utilise a mod called XSkin, which allows for said swapping of skins. My quick example is that you can turn a standard rifle into a plasma rifle (but it would still do standard rifle damage).

Can someone explain me what this is? What's a template? i've seen a few of these and im a tad bit confused. are they literal weapons added to the game? or are they cosmetics hence the word template?

They show up fine for me. Make sure the "Owned" filter's off if you're using XSkin.

For me the option to reskin to any ghost arsenal isn't appearing for me when using Xskin mod, how do I get them to appear??

@shortyshortensein.117 sub to the Xskin mod, then in game click on "reskin weapon" when viewing a soldier and you'll find these weapons there (you may have to mess with the filters depending on what weapon your soldier has equipped)

yes i can finally use the Combine ar2 that gun was bad ass in half life 2 and was a god send when i was swarmed by crabhead creatures
