Here's my Chinese translation: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3090564070
I don't remember if it's on the tooltips but the graphic seems to indicate that there are walls when we build watch tower
I copied the garrison (and fort level) effects from the Curtain Walls and Bastions chain of buildings, so that's more of a base game balance issue.
You can actually siege and occupy cities (and temples) in base game, IF they are fortified. Problem is, there aren't any buildings you can build in cities that increase fortification, so it only happens if:
- the city is a county capital (e.g. Pisa)
- the holder of the city either has the Defensive Measures perk (part of the Architect Stewardship lifestyle) or the Enduring Hardships perk (part of the Overseer Martial lifestyle)
- the duchy in which the city is in has one of the duchy buildings that increase fort level in all holdings in the duchy (either Marches or Siege Works)
But I'm glad you like it, it was a pretty simple mod to make tbh, took me a few hours last evening. Honestly don't know why no-one else has had this idea yet.
