Every single unique point of it is well-balanced while staying relevant to the source material, and the concepts it introduces are actually new ideas. The only problem I found was that the demon spawn rate made the game just a bit too easy under all three ideologies, but especially Freedom, which seems to be the naturally best focus for the Civ. Not only were the demons a bit too powerful for how easy it was to get them, but they were also so easy to have in large numbers that gifting them to city states puts Makai in an unreasonbly powerful diplomatic position.
By far one of the best touhou mods out there though.
With the Demons Early on I tried to press culture/great people/tourism as much as possible with going the Athestetics Tree as fast as possible but I only got my first Lesser Demon when regular Demons were possible to spawn. Even with having four cities with travel agencies and having a multiple theming bonus wonders going. I'll have to check my saves and see if I got any of my earlier saves and run from the Travel Center becoming available. As I kind of tech rushed to get one
As for the demons, I suppose it depends on how much you're pushing your Tourism. I usually tried to beeline for the Renaissance so I could start generating Lesser Demons early, but with few early options to increase Tourism it can be difficult to get them up to a rate at which they'd show up regularly. I have been considering whether to establish a minimum chance for demons to appear (say, 10%), with the Tourism bonus adding onto that, so it could help demons show up more regularly.
The Demons mechanic tends to be rather feast or famine for their arrival as even with a high culture score it's very hit or miss Lesser Demons with their strength tend to come so rarely when that strength would give them an edge on contemory units and often find themselves outmatched by the time you can get them coming en masse (Industrial age). Combine that with frequent bad luck with thier random perk can make them best used as free meatshield units.
Later Demons work out better but they're rarely enough to make them pack an effective punch until you get Greater Demons.... but by the time you're getting them regularly you've pretty much got a Culture Win in the bag.
a series of top down shooters made by one guy that got one of the biggest fandoms for some reason.
Also Delete the "Civ5ModsDatabase.db" from "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache." if it's not showing up
