For one, the volume on certain heroes is stupidly loud. Vantage, Ash, Revenant stood out to me.
Secondly, some of the choices for voice lines were a bit odd. It's been many years since last I played Apex Legends so I don't remember how chatty the legends were but
When a soldier gets killed / put in to bleedout, only to chat normally and comment about being downed as their brains splatter all over the pavement, that definitely kinda hurts the immersion.
It'd also be cool if there were lines about reloading, or complaining when they miss a shot, rather than asking for optics and an extended mag.
Other than that, I very much like this voice pack and appreciate the time and effort it took to get all these voices.
It would be nice if the characters used the "reloading" voice line, instead of saying "magazine here."
The voices do appear way too often on recruits. Like @phone said below.
Nice mod though.
Well done!!
I've never had that with any voice packs. Clearing your user configs is the "fix 95% of mod problems" move, try that?

Yes. In this mod's XComContent.ini change the language to a unique name, like the character's name. That will stop RNG assigning it to random squaddies. Then comment out, with a semi-colon, the voice for each Hero soldier class

Yea it seems like the code is the same cus I didn't notice any problems hotswapping the mods mid-campaign with existing character voices. Valkyrie is the same Valkyrie, and all that.
Definitely don't mind the reduced file size, was just wondering what it does.
I would suggest that you make a backup save, then disable the uncooked mod and enable this one if you're on a campaign, though, if only because it MIGHT mess up what voices your characters use if they're using these voices already.
Thing is though, if he's using the same names for the voices internally in terms of scripting you won't have that issue and they should migrate relatively painlessly.
i've got way more gb in mods than i do ram but xcom seems to be fine despite all of that, so unsure if i need to make the switch
