Just in case folk don't know, the mod is fine, it breaks due to the way that the game works with steam to track progression. I can't do anything to rectify this and the developers don't know a fix either beyond removing your save (which shouldn't remove campaign progress, at least it doesn't for me?)

The mod is completely broken. Despite having it enabled, the equipment just doesn't show up. The only way to fix it is to delete your whole save, which you have to do every single time you boot up the game, effectively meaning you have to go through the whole game in one sitting if you want to do it with the mod.

yeah sure...

1 - Open your Game and disable all your mods
2 - stop your steamcloud sync for the game
3 - delete your save folder from: C:\Users___\AppData\Local\Thunder2305\Saved\SaveGames
4 - Open your game again and enable your mods, when you launch the game now it should reset all your configs and soloplay saves (not your lvl, at least mine didnt), test if your addons will be working.
5 - Close the game again and re-activate your steamcloud sync for the game.

When you launch the game again it should ask if you want to keep your cloud save or subscribe for your local files. You simply need to subscribe for your local files and boom the mods should be working again.

I did that and all the mods are working normal again.

Hello everyone, try canceling the steam cloud > delete the save folders ( previously mentioned) launch the game and then link again with steam cloud, it sholud ask you to subscribe the local files over the steam cloud one. this should work.

I think I found the explanation to why it's missing

When I download the mod, it only validates 83 MB of instead of the original 197 MB size, so this is the reason why contents are missing, it also is an issue for me in the tactical helmet mod one.

No worries. It's strange because I'll get it working (dont know how) then its not working. It's kinda like a 50/50 thing

I've tried many different things to fix this on my end, still didn't fix it for folks. Apologies for this guys, devs have no idea how to correct it. Not just on my mods, things just break sometimes and no idea why.

Haven't had any luck fixing the issue with the mod. The pouches still appear its just the vest itself that doesnt. Really good mod though when I had it working

Just learned that Steam Cloud could be responsible for some mods not showing up.
So, if the problem persists, try disabling Steam Cloud Synchronization, restarting the game, redownloading the mod and testing it.

Try deleting this foldar and redownloading the mod, if the problem persists.

I tried the fix and it didnt work. i uninstalled everything and deleted everything in that folder to no avail. I hope you find a definitive fix for this soon

Pouches are showing, the vest is not. Tried to deleted SaveGames, no luck.

I've tried everything to get the mod working for me again... nothing works. Tried the instructions given, tried validating the files, tried uninstall/reinstall, tried unsubbing/resubbing, tried variations on all... I can't seem to get this mod, the plate carrier mod, the mich helmet mod, and the multicam mod to work. I still have multicam arid/tropic/black, the zombie survival mod, and the M16A3 mod working... what am I doing wrong?

tried the fix and it worked for a hot minute but as soon as i exited steam and tried playing again a few days later the issue repeated and continues to do so

Purple Dogg the lead dev posted a possible fix for people to try.

C:\Users___\AppData\Local\Thunder2305\Saved\SaveGames (fill in the blanks with your specific folders)

Cut and paste any files inside to another location and attempt to relaunch the game. Something about corrupting loadout files. Two folks on discord posted issues, doing that solved them.

Please all give this a try. Adding it as a possible work-around in the description above.

the mod worked just fine when I initially subscribed.
After I re-booted the game client, some items disappeared from the inventory
- plate carrier
- medium pouch vest

It means that there's no plate carrier. plate carrier
VEST has LIGHT MEDIUM POUCH HEAVY COVERED, but there is no plate carrier in the ARMOR category

The plate carrier should be under the armor selection, up the top, then the pouches are the vest category.

After applying the mode, you can activate it and set it up, but you can choose the vest, but the plate carrier is not applied in the bulletproof category, so I rebooted it, deleted it, and reinstalled it, but as a result, nothing changed

The current pouch is applied, but there are bugs that cannot be applied to the plate carrier

I'm not sure why it is working for some folk and not for others. Even the dev's have no idea what could be causing the issue. I am still of the assumption that the issue is Workshop related, but I have no idea for sure.

That said, loading up the mod on the game myself to see if it shows up and if the belt is somehow broken on the load-outs since the patch.

I got the same issue as the others. This is a great mod. I hope you're able to fix it and make more. Some suggestions would be different gloves, boots, and even glasses. In any case, the problem I'm having is the game will crash and when I bring it back up, the plate carrier is gone along with my mich helmet.

@Sanjuro the kit isn't theirs, it belongs to Epic, likely the only way they could release the kit was via that program.

@Huidemar I am not sure, does it work on any of the loadouts? I may have screwed up the mapping on one but I hadn't noticed any issues. Sorry.

I can't color the belt for some reason; it remains black. Any tips?

Wish I understood the file structure, I'd try to make a suggestion, but I don't have the mod kit since it's not on steam. Weird how they release on steam but publish mods from epic store lol.

Same I am losing the plate carrier no matter what I do, unsub /resub, restart steam doesn't matter weird thing is though the pouches are fine it's the plate carrier I lose.

Restarted Steam when it happens? I've noticed this game and the workshop connection keeps breaking randomly, for all different mods with no cause or repro way

Beyond that I have no idea.
