Yes, don't do 2048 textures. Even 1024 doesn't look necessary since I barely see anything that can't be tiled with a pretty small tile. Is your UV mapping efficient enough? Do you know about that?
So yes, since you seem to have the heart to be a responsible creator, you're getting the feedback, so do put a warning. I'd consider cloning this into a unique building (or something; there's a kind of building that creators are often discouraged to make, I'm sure you can find it quickly enough with some research), and because it's a unique/ploppable building, you don't have to worry about it, while you can come back to this growable and optimize it.
