No animated doors, high likelihood of being bitten through a door that is unknowingly hanging open

@Kampin Karl try to uninstall the trunk door that might unlock it. I know uninstalling doors on cars that are locked unlocks that door.

I found 2 trailers, they are both locked and no keys around. Is there anyway to get into them? I have common sense mod but the crowbar cant seem to be used on it? Thanks

I spent days filling a trailer which is now bent in a weird way and makes it impossible to turn when attached to the truck.

I tried to modify the file as advised but it doesnt change a thing.

Any idea ?

I armored the front but the hood still takes damage while the front armor takes none. Build 41.78

@Agentdrift9679 you can stand next to the truck and press v, press the modifications option top left of radial wheel and you'll be able to see the list of modifications you can make and the resources they require. metalworking level 10 is required.

once fully armored you'll have to replace the front armor pretty often but the top, sleeper, sides and wheels last much longer. very expensive to create and maintain but you can live out of it if you need to.

@UshankaMan that could be due to a mod incompatibility with Better Car Physics. I know with the Filibuster Rhyme's Used Car Lot (Animation Beta) that attaching Skogiedun 574 to a trailer will cause the 2 to move over time if BCP is enabled.

seems this mod is abandoned. the truck when attached to a trailer is sliding, and this issue has been reported back in 2024, yet the developer has still not responded, nor updated

only problem I'm having with this is that the horn cuts in and out too harshly

In B42 does anybody know if the snow plow, bull bars, side armour etc. actually do anything like protecting the vehicle against damage or are they just visual changes?

@Setrogamer Steering with a trailer is problematic and to me it seems worse with the sleepers, particularly the long version in B41. I did find that the trailer binds on the truck itself and you can change some settings in the code which makes them a little better but never fixes the problem completely. I don't remember what changes need to be done to the code but you can find the changes in older posts. They do seem to be much better in B42.

@Logan_krisp I have found keys for 1 or 2 trailers but it seems to be extremely rare so the usual way to open a trailer is to uninstall and re-install the rear door. Then you have complete access to the trailer.

VIRUS, честно даже не знаю, не спавнил ничего себе ни разу. Ты ставил на уже имеющееся сохранение? Если да, то новый транспорт появляется в местах, где ты не был, вроде как. Если нет, то поищи у заводов на парковках, там обычно их аж по несколько.

I did some tests and it's not okay yet, I did this tutorial, and I do feel like most phantom movements while standing still were corrected, but some actions are kinda stiff, and the truck and the trailer are not behaving correctly, in this video the very first and last maneuvers were the best examples
