Hi, Shal! That's why there's another version: "No sling nor stock edition". It's a bit of a shallow fix but it should solve the issue, if you'd like to give it a try.
I never did get around to looking at the load order issue, unfortunately. At this point, I don't think this mod is even needed anymore as I think all these items have had models added to vanilla a while back.

It's particularly bad with Guns of 93, in which slings can't be attached to most weapons and can't be removed from weapons that spawn with them attached.

If you use this mod with a weapon mod that alters slings, as many of the big ones do, it stops the slings from being properly usable on modded weapons. This mod seems to overwrite the sling item regardless of load order, which is odd. I would expect a mod loaded later in the list to overwrite this, but it doesn't.

Shouldn't worsen performance at all unless you have a bunch of 3D models scattered all over the place. The game already uses 3D models for every item so long as you have the setting enabled, this mod just added models for some of the items that used to be missing them - it does not add any extra detail to existing models. Hope that clears things up!

Though, if you are worried about performance, the items this mod fixed all have models now, anyway, so aside from some other minor changes this mod adds there's not as much of a reason to use it now!

Had I played all this time, for so long, through so many versions; fighting the endless hordes, and even worse, the obtuse interface and wanna-be 16-bit graphics, just to come to know that I didn't have to SUFFER THIS HELL?! THAT I COULD HAVE PLAYED THIS WHOLE TIME WITH THIS MOD ACTIVATED?!
Excuse me, I need to go find my shotgun.

I thought I was complete, and was about to end it all on a high note with this shotgun I found, using this mod I found, but then I thought to myself: "What if this isn't all there is? What if there is more?!", and I just couldn't get the idea out of my head, and so, with a melancholic sigh, I shift-tabbed over to the workshop and searched around.
Just as I was about to give up, wallowing in my depression, thinking of ending it all, I clicked on to the next page of mods. Maybe here, I would find what I was looking for.
And so, I came across this mod. Something in my shone again, and I knew, I just KNEW, this was what I had been looking for this whole time. The crack, hookers, heroin, and Xmas's with the in-laws; all worth it, for I had arrived to the promised mod.
However, there was just one problem...

It does not, Kokujo!

Does this mod include a teacup model?
