ye it is rather difficult to fly, as it isn't limited to any height or angle. requires 2 hands to control

I assume the control scheme saved with the craft, you need 2 hands to fly it well

w-s acceleration,
a-d turning,
up arrow - down arrow pitch,
left arrow - right arrow roll
if you want to stay in place, loading the tech's screenshot and using the anchor before any movement is the best method. I'm unsure how to add any form of PID to a craft in terratech and that funny betterfuture computer doesn't help much

Newbie question: is the thing supposed to be so hard to control? It doesn't seem to have any way of sticking to a stable altitude let alone hold position.
