Thanks to the development team of this mod, this is my favorite mod, as it allows you to expand the geography of a certain region (in this case, North America) and come up with your own scenarios using a set of tools. I really hope that the mod will continue to adapt to new updates and add new features (I'm really looking forward to the appearance of a common branch of unification focuses for Central American countries).

Maybe Hoi5 will have the ability, I doubt it, but we can hope.

@ibalach3 that sounds like an amazing idea, but the clauswitz engine is not capable of this kind of map change mid game. we upscaled solely on north america to provide more indepth combat, and country painting in this part of the world.

while yes we could make a map with the full world. it will lack a lot of depth we have been able to do with the mod currently. USA states Redux had this issue in their first rendition of their map. the game lags way to quickly with the amount of things going on.

Hopefully one day HOI4 will add ways to make maps larger if your doing modding, that way mods like this can go further out once you've united

I can tell you now that'll never happen ibalach because the way the map works in Hoi4 means this is the biggest the map can get. This isn't just a map of North+Central America zoomed in no it's upscaled with many smaller sections in each state meaning you can't just zoom out and open the rest of the world because as far as the game is concerned this IS the entire world.

Cool idea, but sadly impossible to make happen.

Hey, I have a suggestion about what could be done after you as the new nation are playing as. If you've finished unifying all of the United States, or unifying all of Canada, or unifying all of North America(as Alaska in either their Tsarist path or Ukranian path), you're given a decision to choose to return to the whole HOI4 map, and since some nations focus trees allow you to get aid from nations like the USSR, Japan, or Germany, you can then return that aid in some way. Or in the case of playing Tsarist Alaska, since you can get German aid, you and Germany would work together as a final game fight to return to Russia, with the player either getting a Russian puppet/annexing all Russian Empire territory becoming, and this is just a suggestion name, New Russian Empire/or Second Russian Empire. Or if you play the Ukranian Alaska, then you work with someone to defeat the USSR, and become the Second Kievan Rus(just a suggestion lol)

i noticed a glitch with the mod, when playing as washington state and going down the local cooperation path to form the nation of cascadia, the final focus "a united cascadia" doesnt change your name to cascadia, your name stays as Republic of washington, yet the flag does change to the cascadia one, but the name doesnt change

I really would love it if there was a way to have a sports franchise take over a country. I think it'd be really funny if New York could be overtaken by the Yankees or Quebec by the Canadiens. Feel like it would fit in with the other meme paths.
