Is it possible to play only with leaders expansion?

@mother I think the rulebook is pretty clear that an assistant is removed by the rival when researching only when there is supposed to be an assistant reward for the row. The assistant reward icon next to the rule indicates this.

In solo play, the rival will not remove assistants if gaining an assistant is not the reward for that row. From what I understand of the rules and googling for how others have interpreted, the research card should always remove an assistant and it's not contingent on an assistant being a reward for that row.

Where can I find the campaign/story book? I see the rule books but I am confused if its not there or I am just missing it.

@NightSky i replaced the missing trash icons with something else. Let me know if there are any issues with it.

Is this still being supported at all? This is one of my absolutely favorite games. The trash can for red is missing for some reason or won’t load in messing up the resources. Red player can right click to auto trash resources as there is no trash can to put them in.

I understand how it can be to add stuff like that - I was just curious if that was in the cards eventually. No rush! Thanks for all the work you've done on it already!

I'll probably add scripted campaign features at some point down the line.

Sick mod, one of my favorites on this workshop, and if you check my workshop, you'll see I can appreciate what goes into making one of these. I see you have the campaign assets in game - is there any plans to incorporate a scripted campaign setup, or is there an option there that I'm missing? Having the assets in is great, but if setup for the scenarios needs to be done manually, it's working against the current setup and quite fiddly indeed. As far as I can tell, the best current way is to set up a normal game as close to the parameters as possible, but then manually cull the deck or add the cards you need, manually do the event cards and move idols, set up the guardians, etc. Is there a better way I'm missing? I don't see anything in the very very cool xml setup stuff you got going on here, but I'm good at missing stuff!

@Prodigium thanks, that should be fixed now.

When the player only switches between the "Base game" and "All expansion" options, the character is always randomized.

@Prodigium can you elaborate on what the bug is? Did you select a game option and start a game with a different unselected one?

There is a bug. The "isOn" attribute of toggle on the UI must have an initial value.

Awesome work, jkk! First test game: Journalist setup in two player only put down the right most feature article, not the other two. Also, red staff had no effect during advancement to next round (artifacts and items just stayed).

The Lost Expedition leaders are added. The mod is not tested much... please let me know about bugs. Also let me know if things are working flawlessly too.

Hey jkk I sent a friend request to you with regards to potentially adding the missing expedition content to this mod. I have the content cut and imported into TTS just needs to be integrated in to your existing mod.

The mod looks wonderful, but what I would love is for the solo cards to have the arrows on the back as in the original physical game. So I can choose the correct site for the virtual opponent. I know scripting probably takes care of the virtual opponent "moves", but scripting (and script created menus) do not work in VR. And VR (even though far from interacting with a physical tabletop game) is at least a little bit close to it. Which a screen would never be.

I never comment on anything but this mod is amazing.
I just played once the solo mode and a loooot of things are automated.
Totally recommend!

This is very well done.
Only tested solo mode so far but it feels like playing against a proper computer AI.

let's not worry about the campaign just get the new leaders in there and the cards

but i think it must be difficult to include the campaign. Concentraite on the gameplay without campaign first. Include only the cards. And than we can play the campain with manual setup for example. Perfect than you include chapter after chapter in future. It would be nice. All chapters hafe 3 difficult levels.

I have the Missing Expedition expansion IRL in English. I might be able to provide images of components, but my scanner is having problems rn.

As i mentioned, i'll work on adding the new expansion if someone provides component images.

I'm also looking forward to the inclusion of the new expansion. I do have the German version IRL, so feel free to reach out if you need an asset (or even assistance with scripting).

hey do you include the missing expension in future?

it would be nice to have a chat log update whenever you give or take resources, and a screen overlay to easily see your current resources.

The "Hidden Fear" card from the Captain does not give the -2 points durign endgame scoring

@Chr1Z - I added some scripting to automatically spend resource tokens when right-clicking Buy buttons and '+' buttons, just for kicks.

I think automatic resource removal for things like buy or discover would be annoying because you can pay with cards and/or resource tokens, and that requires the player's decision.
Also, paying resource tokens is fast and easy by right-clicking your resource counters.

Amazing mod! I'd like to contribute and add automatic resource removal to the buy button. Are you open for that?
