I retested it a few times, and found the light switch to be working as intended. It becomes clickable as soon as the Halloween letter is picked up. If that didn't work for you, I can only assume that you had a rather unique glitch. I'm sorry you didn't get to complete the room, I think you really would have liked the ending.
Just as a side note, sadly I could not finish the map, because the light switch is not clickable after the chess puzzle.
P.S. If you plan to make more maps and would like some voice over/voice acting for it - I'd be honoured to help free of charge. Have some experience in doing voice work and have a deep yet soothing voice with a slight northern European accent
The puzzles are creative and diverse, and the overarching narrative, voice-overs, and tone really set the mood and pull everything together. The art design on the photos is truly beautiful, and as soon as I saw how the revolving photos at the very end were done, I knew I wanted to do something similar in my room (thanks Wollo!). Amazing job here.
Along with a love for challenging but fair puzzles, Wollo has a really unique sense for game design, theme, and flow, and it's impressive to see the wide variety of ways he has employed those skills in his diverse and growing collection of escape rooms. Check out his other rooms if you haven't yet - highly recommended!
Keep up your great work.
But I'm also hearing your pain and have added a choice between the full prologue (4.5 mins) and a shorter one (< 1 min) - for those in a hurry. I personally still prefer the long one.
I have also added a little something to the last puzzle to make it less daunting (cute cat carvings make any puzzle better anyway).
And then there are several minor improvement like fonts, item names, and other little fixes.
