Thanks. I was thinking to make a croatian map me too. Plitvice lakes or Premantura. But i couldnt find an high quality heightmap and so i have opted for a mountain one that is in progress. I would like to ask to you where did you find the heightmap. Maybe you know a specific croatian site that can help me in the future. (Like the swiss heightmap ultra res site that i discoverd thanks to Vecchiocristo). If you have made that with the heightmap i have found for croatian coast...well double compliment.

@MisterHamstring that's the tricky part and involves using the heightmap generated outputs to overlay and re-scale. Or sometimes creating a centre-point for reference using the co-ordinates

Nice work. How do you determine the right scale?

I create all my overlays manually using many highest resolution images and then stitching them together using GIMP. Cutting to size to match the map area. Then reducing a 26k image down to 4k or 8k etc

The overlay was most likely created using Mappuzzle. It's software that lets you download high resolution sat photos

Second question: how/where did you create the 12k map?

This map is really beautiful.
Question: do you know whyy some map have issues in my game? I can't select any roads to change priority and suchs. Also I cannot select buildings already on the map, like that electricity pole or whatever it is.
It's nog just your map. I already experienced this with other maps too...

Amazing! Only thing thats missing from the workshop for this map to be complete are apartment buildings from the Montovjerna, Nova Mokošica and Zlatni potok neighborhoods and typical Dalmatian homes. Anyways, beautiful map! <3

makes a good slovenian coastal map as croatias and slovenias coasts look basicly the same
