As of 05.04.2024, this mod does not work and the menu does not show up. Sadly there are no other similiar mods as far that I know of.

Haven't tried and I don't know. At least it wasn't showing error in the logs

does the mod still work after the lates update of the game?

I tested it a month ago and there wasn't a patch since then so it should work.

Does this still work? The marriage by abduction interaction isn't showing up for me for landed prisoners.

Prisoner. And children has to be in court of the target (So no landed ones) or imprisoned by you

okay so as far as i can see the only one you listed was that females above 40 cant do any of it.

Oh there is some limitation to the lion and targets. That is true

alright whatever you did made it appear again. it works now though not always. savanna lion doesn't always show up and when it does it doesn't always kill all the children of the target, sometimes the survivor is a leader of a realm, sometimes they are an heir, other times they have nothing at all.
marriage by abduction mostly shows up though again not always i cant work out what might be preventing it at all and i've done dozens of kidnappings on all kinds of rulers of every rank.
im thinking there's some parameters involved that's making it a bit fussy about doing its job

Okay, I just tested with Snake Eye guy in 867 and imprisoned an Iceland girl.
I saw Marriage by Abduction under hostage options and the lion event triggered without a problem.

While I updated the mod, the only thing I did was update the version.

Could you check with similar conditions, if it does work, could you specify the conditions it does not work?

i remember seeing it a few weeks back, it might be due to all the updates lately, and i haven't gotten the savanna lion event since i first installed this mod.
the mod list says this mod is made for version 1.9.# and this was last updated about 4 months ago so definitely needs an update

@Rhox I will turn off "Improved Concubines" mod and try again with only your mod.

Maybe he uses the force_offer_concubine or force_offer_marriage? Yeah, it was a bad word choice for sure.

I did the thing to the 867 Iceland girl (imprisoned via console) and it looks like it's working? Have to check force offer concubine though

I think it should be called. "Abdication by Marriage" as it seems that the prisoner 'abdicates' in favour of his/her spouse upon marriage

Hutsh// I've checked the mod. Marriage itself and killing offspring works fine. Offering to courtier works fine. Do you use any other mod or is this error occurring in at specific situation?

not working currently, an empty window popup block the game once mariage by abduction is triggered

well there has been times in history where lords have abducted people to marry them Mary queen of Scots comes to mind Bothwell abducted Mary and kept her hostage for months. ultimately Bothwell did tell Mary that he would marry her, whether she wanted him or not. According to historians, - There are many instances of bridal abduction in Medieval Europe, especially to wealthy heiresses. In fact, marriage by abduction continued to occur in many areas well into the modern era - not sure why pardox left this out of core game historically it was good way to claim title.
