Would it be possible to adapt the code for passing turns instead of time ?

I don't see anywhere where it says 7 'hours'. It just 7 * 500 turns, which I interpret to be 7 games of standard speed Civ 6. I barely make much progress in an online speed game over the course of an hour. 7 standard speed games back to back is most definitely not good for your health.

Hmm, sounds like it wasn't playing too much Civ that was the problem, but rather going to the toilet. Learn how to catheterize yourself, and you can play much longer, without need of that risky toilet that can make you faint.

I noticed that at some point after downloading this mod, the game uses a lot of RAM and have massively increased load times along with desyncs in multiplayer games. I do not know for sure that this mod is the cause because i also downloaded some other mods at the same time. However, it sounds logical to think this mod is the cause because there was no rest reminder message in multiplayer, but only singleplayer.

I laugh at all the people who blame this mod's reason to be, no matter what the health condition of this woman was and no matter if playing for 7 hours straight caused it or not, it's objectively obvious that playing seated, staring at a screen uninterrupted is harmful. Doing so for a long period of time if fine if you take breaks, but doing so "straight" with no break is definitely not good for your health. And yes, I don't care if you've been doing so for 10 years w/o issue, ask anybody whose job is to make sure your health stays good if "uninterrupted 7+ hours of screen time" is good or not (TV, gaming, ...).

This mod's author had a good reason to make it, who cares if their reason "applies" to you or not, the idea in itself is good even if your health condition does not compare to that woman, it will always be good for you take a brake here and there. I hope some people will be less triggered by that mod's reason to be and appreciate it for what it is. Thanks to the author and y'all have a good day.

Chill fellas. Its just a reminder mod. If you don't want to use it then don't install it that's all.

These comments are glorious, just a pile of triggered gamers not understanding a bit of tongue in cheek humour. This is a good idea, more games should institute ideas like this bc there's really no argument against extended periods of inactivity, staring at a screen and monotonous activity being bad for you all around, physically and mentally.

Sometimes I am playing for 15 hours a row, doing this since years, never ever had any medical issues. If someone is so sick, he/she should spend a few weeks in a hospital, not playing computer games!

seven hour straight of gaming on its own isnt going to do anything to you, its the combination of staying up for long hours and other factors that play into the end result

Only seven hours? That's child's play. With tactical snacking you can game on for at least 12 to 16 hours straight.,

@Homuya It's easy to ignore hunger if you leave yourself in that state long enough. I ran out of money for a good chunk of time and started starving. Not only do I rarely feel hungry anymore mostly out of necessity, gaming compounded the effect further.

God forbid, if you aren't capable of learning when to stop playing then I can easily see someone who does this frequently to just continue playing and forget to eat.

This is excactly what I need, I tend to play long games into the night making me loose sleep. A reminder like this helps me realise the time i should stop so i don't get insomnia. Thanks OP, you are very based, just like Gilgamesh

seriously why are so many people being mean. The op was being kind on creating this. Don't take it so personally. If anything that is saying Civ6 is a good game. It might be as simple as dehydration. Personally I will install it and setup the reminder because I need to take a 60 second walk every 30 mins to avoid back problems. Thank you very much for making this!
