They are supposed to lock onto a vehicle for 3-ish seconds, then when lock is achieved, you may fire.

@Mod Tester i tested it and i would say its pretty difficult to defeat the F-22, however with a combination of good firing timing, missile barrage, and guns, its pretty decent

When you look at real pictures of this, it only has the missiles, so the auto cannons are clearly fake but I don't mind about it.
