i can echo what @sassafras said, ive only heard one track once in game, although i do have other music mods. So i am wondering if there is a conflict or if other mods prioritise their music? Sorry if this is dumb

It is not, the tracks I used for the mod do not get ear-splittingly loud like they do in Kenshi itself. I'm convinced that volume issue is actually a bug in Kenshi's dynamic music system because it's ridiculous.

No, Kenshi does not have any combat-specific music. It's all atmospheric and specifically designed to ignore what the player is doing.
I set all of them in this mod to play only during peace. You can always fine-tune that using Fluffy's Music Manager mod if you want to.

I think it was just a word play, Scorching Wind is an awesome track regardless.

The version of the tracks that I included doesn't get nearly as ear-piercing as what plays in Kenshi itself. If I'm wrong about that I can adjust the volume for the track in question. Just let me know which track is the offending one using Fluffy's Music Manager to see the track name.
