the slap sounds super anticlimatic

Unless I am operating under old information, there is an issue between L4D1 and L4D2 characters with magazine placement. If I made it removable in 3rd person, it would be out of place for one set of characters.

can you make the 3rd person reload actually remove the drum mag ?

It looks more like a MP5A4 because it has four firing modes- safe, single, burst, auto. The A2 and A3 only had safe, single, and auto.

if the left arm was lower, this would be absolutely perfect. I play with an increased viewmodel fov and the left arm covers the entire bottom of the screen when other mods and vanilla weapons do not

The view model is right-handed, so I would check your add-ons for an MP5 script mod, as those can set it to left-handed.
