Just posted a "more optimised" version without the tall grass
will start working on a possible fix for the frame issues
I really have no clue what your options are on the editor , but i guess the main issue is the density. The grass lenght and the render distance are great, they do serve the theme pretty nicely, but the density, especially in certain areas, are putting the biggest toll on users end.
But again, mod is otherwise really great, and it fits very nicely on our server that has rotating seasons ^^ this visual mod was very well recieved.

Really fucking out of it rn might not get a fix for a bit yet sorry.
game draw distance in general is rough, there's no real setting to change it. only really possible on custom maps, however by re-exporting all the trees/foliage and using a different method the draw distance can be increased.
Like for example the grass in this mod was re-exported with a bigger model and some tweaks that make it render about 40% further than base game although it did take me about 2 days to figure out how to set all the bending and stuff up, trees would be alot harder but it is possible.
