even though it's no longer updated, would there be a chance of making the AR-10 a separate mod and usable for the assault class? It fits well with the Portuguese army skins from africa addio and I wanted to be able to use only it.

Nice. IIRC, there is several mods where weapons are select-fire, such as by Hoidersan's EXTAS series and a G11 mod.

Finally, I get the OG Armalite AR-10. I think you're one of the first to make one for Ravenfield.

Update 2: there's an HK417 mod that actually pulls it off. Shared ammo pools, auto and semi, the whole deal. And, if I'm remembering correctly, it released before mutators came out.

@sigmoton on further investigation, turns out that yeah there isn't much select fire beyond Lordalola's auto mutator, which applies to literally every gun. Automatic variants of these guns would still be fun. But it's your mod, do what you will!

@Hephaestus Can you link one of them? I can only find two mods on the workshop with select fire, one of them being an AK-47 mod pack by Ninjagrape and a select fire Patriot by Frityet, both of them achieving select fire by being two seperate weapons (hence non-shared ammo pools), there also is a PPSh-41 mod out there which does the same thing, I believe. I also am not part of the modding discord/ any modding community, so I don't have access to their stuff

Am I wrong, or are the select-fire scripts pretty openly shared among the modding community, since a number of low-effort mods have it? Not to mention the 417 select-fire mod with shared pools that came before mutators, but that was probably some complicated wizardry on the modder's part.

@SlayerTheFox115 Yes, but there is no way of adding select-fire with the provided mod-tools without custom scripts, unless you're fine with two separate ammo pools for semi and full auto (why there is no "use parent weapon ammo" stat is beyond me)

@Nietabs Not an actual G3, the CETME Modelo A has the bipod folded up act as the handguard
