I just discovered why I can use the taunts, you need to be subscribed to the article on the first link, then go to "SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod" and edit the file "gameinfo.tx".

Then search these lines:

Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game ep2_workshop
Game episodic_workshop
Game lostcoast_workshop
Game tf_movies
Game tf
Game workshop
Game left4dead2_movies
Game dod
Game hl2

And place the "Game workshop" line above the "Game tf" line, it should look like this:

Game ep2_workshop
Game episodic_workshop
Game lostcoast_workshop

Game hl2

This allows SFM to use the new animations with the taunts instead of the old animations. The taunts animations can be selected when you import a sequence.
