Commenting because this mod is a lifesaver in terms of being able to take those butterfaced Norse portraits seriously so I thought I'd let others know that it appears to be working fine for me, so it should work fine for you.
into the "norse_male" folder onelevel above. On that occasion i turned the mod for myself into an unpacked variant, so not sure if that works fine when done inside the zipped file.
I've given it a bit of thought. The Outremer culture in CK2 never really existed in history - the Frankish lords in the crusader states never adopted Levantine stylings as the portraits suggest. Based on the stuff in game, it seems to be based in the fictionalized 13th century Kingdom of Jerusalem portrayed in the film Kingdom of Heaven, where French nobility have adopted some Arabic cultural habits and a mix of Byzantine, French, and Levantine styles. Practically, I would use some of the gaudier Italian, Arabic, and Late Byzantine clothes with French faces. That's what I tried to do - but portrait modding is more complex than history and bloodline modding, which is what I'm used to.
I also have the same question about HIP. Compatible with HIP? Will you make it compatible?
Feel free to @ me
If you have all the required DLC and are sure you have no other mods enabled (or modified vanilla files), I'd recommend either resubscribing or using the non-Steam version as mod files can often be corrupted when downloading from the workshop.
Could you add Hungarian portraits please?
Streamlined/optimised the file structure to make it more compatible with other mods.
Fixed a bug with Anglo-Saxon which incorrectly displayed headgear_mid for characters of a different graphical culture when wearing a helmet.
Removed the 00_portrait_properties.txt file which was accidentally added to the mod in the last update. If you noticed any problems running this with other mods after the last update, this should now be fixed.
Tnank for your attention and perfect mods.
