Also, sorry for not responding earlier, but you can partially blame the new mobile Steam app because it's garbage that barely works and doesn't show notifications sometimes.

Well, holding a magazine well is (almost) never wrong, unlike the magazine itself. The underhand technique is unusual, though.

regarding world war era guns, i found out that the game 'enlisted' has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of them including variants for each one (even has that trench KAR98k model, though according to this site it was removed from the game but it's probs in the files still)

im seriously in awe at the amount of guns that game has. the game's free to download and check too, but only issue is i haven't got a clue on how to extract it.

anyway im just giving you a notification here if you ever want to investigate a huge cache of potential odd world war era gun mods.
