As a test, please try loading from an early savegame prior to when you installed the original version. That would tell us if you somehow are having a conflict with the new version (possible).
Otherwise, you might try loading a recent savegame with the mod unchecked and save it. Then, check (select) the mod again and run from that new savegame. This might flush out any residue from before.
Short of that and depending on results, you might try manually deleting the mod and then reinstalling. If this becomes necessary, I can list the files involved.
Please let me know what if anything you come up with.
Thanks!
Thanks
It's too late to change for now, but I will for next update (no estimate)
Thanks for you feedback in helping with this update.
I am in the process of an update that will include 3 version of the spell (Novice, Adept and Master).
Thanks for feedback!
FYI: To those who feel this spell is too powerful: I designed this because I play Dead is Dead (start over if killed) and I wanted to play as a robed (unarmored) Mage and without having to carry around a shield or weapons (I use a bound sword and bow).
I challenge anyone to survive the game (let's say make it to level 30 for example) as an unarmored Mage without using a traditional shield AND without dying.
The existing Ward spells are useless except debatably against other Mages. This is why I decided to combine Ward with Shield effects - to make Mage a more viable character.
As for the other features, I'm leaving them in based on my own experience. Some may like, some may not.
