I haven't had as much time as I wish to work on this, it's on my to-do list to update all weapons and add more
Thanks for the reply!
I get that, Arma 3 is an absolute pain to work with, im sorry to hear that it makes you doubt your skills, their very impressive even with the fact that the Texturing systems for Arma 3 are severely lacking. Your artstation posts look absolutely fabulous by the way, very high quality!
If i could make any suggestions at all, it would be to perhaps attempt to continue with Reforger work? Arma 4, whenever that releases is supposed to use the same tools as Reforger and therefore anything made on Reforger can be ported to Arma 4 presumably with relative ease. This way you could use Reforger's much enchanced tools compared to the Arma 3 tools and continue making content for the title as well as having a great mod to start off the Arma 4 launch with? Just a thought i had and i totally get if that isnt your taste.
Best of luck with your studies and thank you and the team for the mod!
TLDR: Never say never but im not sure i want to touch arma 3s texture system again.
Long answer:
Yeah Re-forger was a big dud which is sad cause i was banking on it sorting a lot of my problems. My main issue with Arma 3 is the texture system its just horrid when compared to modern rendering systems and i never found a way to convert modern textures (PBR) to armas (Non-PBR). The reason this made me stop updating after reforger fell off is just it made my work look horrid and really made me doubt my skills in a industry i want to enter professionally.
That being said i am constantly working on private Resistance themed content as it are the focus of all my university projects. So ive got plenty i can could port, some of which can found on my artstation https://www.artstation.com/artwork/NGdYLq .
So ive just been sitting on the fence about returning. Regardless the mod in its limited capacity is here and glad people enjoyed the weapons.
If you need help feel free to ask.
Thanks in advance.
