You don't mention having xdReanimsBase(L4D2). It is required for the hunter beatdown animation mod (assuming that is the animation mod you meant).
I made a mod pack for it if you want to use that checked it today and it was all working for me.

You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mad lad! You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ did it! When I saw the hunter beatdown animation AND the "it has the be this way" audio mod I knew someone would make a Senator Armstrong model for the hunter.
