Yup, there is now a DLC solar panel that has this function. This mod only impact the vanilla version.

@Yung Pro#9868 I just checked it, it's definitely functioning. Are you running other solar panel mods? Try putting this one higher in your mod list, it must be getting overridden.

Yea I imagine frames removed would mean an entire new block model so I can understand that one not being something you wanna do. But colors and getting rid of all the dirt on them. Those would be cool!

@Herr Doktor Frames removed would be harder, but clean and colorable is probably a pretty easy replacement. I'm pretty tied up at the moment, but I'll check it out.

@Valikai - Yo dude. So I'm not "Chad ThunderCock"...hell of a name. But there are a few things I'd love to see for a window mod.
1. All the dirt and grime removed (Various mods did this but they've all broken due to updates)
2. Colorable Tint
3. The frames removed - Big windowed walls can look messy with all the frames. Especially in areas where you need to use other shapes in order to get an airtight fit.

do you think the same thing could be done with glass? the only colour glass mod i can find isn't working and it only adds 4 colours

I can't help but agree with Olypilot, if it is possible like you (author) have mentioned. By default you can colour the frame, so really this just substitutes one thing for another instead of being an addition. I don't see the harm in colourising both separately so people can make their own decision for frame and panel (i.e. white frame + black panels). I respect that this is ultimately up to author ofc.

Is it possible to post the version where the frames can be colored also? In my setup white frames would look a lot better. If not, no biggie, the mod is a big improvement. Thanks.

@Olypilot They both could be, but when I tested it I thought it looked too busy, visually.
