I used a different name as I plan on modifying more and different events in the future and I left out the birth event changes as I don't want those silenced or reduced atm.

Patch-wise only things I found needing fixing were just some of the newer events from Khans of the Steppe that were missing and references to "Vassal" instead of "Subject" due to the Tributary system added in the same patch.

@StopTryharding Old versions of the mod worked exactly like that, but overwriting just specific sections of a file stopped working for events for some reason. The game would always use the vanilla event unless you replaced the entire file.

This was around version 1.5 IIRC. No idea if they fixed it yet, I quit playing CK3 ages ago. If you want to pick up the torch and create a fork of the mod with your patched files, be my guest.

Is there a technical reason the mod overwrites entire files? This method causes it to break with every game update by removing the developers' new changes.

As someone unfamiliar with modding this game, would it be possible to only edit the specific sections the mod alters (e.g., silencing events)? This would make the mod far more robust against future patches. I've been manually patching it since 1.15, and the sections you modify rarely conflict with game updates, so this approach seems more future-proof.

I do hope you'll update this. I can't play this game with constant "scheme at court" spam

freezes my computer sometimes when the game boots. unusable, doesn't block spam sometimes anymore anyway.

Despite the possibility that this mod is partially working (since some people are reporting it does), it does not seem to be fully working.

I enabled it to stop the spam of "A Scheme at Court" that I was getting in my current game and the events are still firing with this mod on - even if nothing loads after it.

I haven't noticed any of the other events so there's a possibility it's doing what it should in regards to them.

Does the addon "Less Event Spam: Affairs & Bastards" need an update or is that still good to go with the latest patch?

After I use the interaction ''demand conversion'' on my vassals, their response,especially after batch interaction in a vast empire.

Any chance at all to add the notifications when a dynasty member is in line for an administrative government position? I have like 200 people in my dynasty, and a large empire with lots of stuff held by dynasty, and seriously, I get like outbursts of 20+ notifications every time someone somewhere died and suddenly all these people are in line for some obscure governorship, and especially when zooming through on fast, it's pretty much a constant flow of notifications....

does this disable the event where it warns you an enemies ally has joined the war i ask because for some reason my game lags like crap when those evens pop up and i have had my game crash because of them at least 3 times 2 of which was with no mods so yeah. just thought it was worth asking.

Can this Mod disable that events auto-pause？

Once upon a time, your mod basically gave an excellent solution in the fight against spam. Now, I consider myself simply obligated to help other players by updating this mod and allowing them to suffer less from the madness of endless pop-ups.

@Night Thanks for stepping in and saving the day! Paradox had changed a lot of stuff since I last updated the mod, and I couldn't get anything to work anymore. I had completely given up on it.

Update.
Turned off the name selection widget for the children of the dynasty.
Fixed broken notifications (message in right bottom). The latest patch has new keys for messages.

@love2799, if the event has a pop-up message in the form of a "letter" or only one response option, then I think I'll include them in the mod. Now I'm playing a game and writing down the names of these events, depending on how often they appear.

Pingvin also has this Less Event Spam: Affairs & Bastards mod where maybe some of the events are already included. I'll see over the weekend if I need to update.

and enemy event , one of my enemy sent me a message saying they want to clear previous grievances between us. I can agree directly, there's no need to pop up ,
and prisoner escape event , one of my prisoner breaking the jail.
and friendship event, someone ask to be my friend,I''ll say yes to anyone asked,
and the poem event, someone send me a poem,I can just compliment them,no need to popup the event to let me choose,
and the disgraced priest event,priest do nasty things and got exposed,
and language learning event, everyone will send a letter to me when they learned my language,that's really not necessary.

please consider kill all them popups ,it would be great to have zero popups

like a shadow in court event,one of my vassal or court member plot against another,spymaster send me letter about it,
and lifestyle related events ,
and naming for dynasty child events,I don't want to name them,default name is good
and secret exposed event,one of my vassal accuse my other vassal for sins,or vassal sins got exposed themselves,
and false claim forged event,someone forged a false claim against me,a letter pup up,
and population moving event ,said my capital short of manpower and list several province to let me choose to move them manpower to my capital,
and fury event ,one of my kin gone mad and curse me,make my char's pressure drop a little,

I returned the stoper to the event-the letter when the prisoner leaves the prison. It turns out that the game does not process letter events yet and they cannot be disabled. Sadness.

I checked the settings like 5 times, no option to disable that pop up menu, and my spymaster is set to disrupt schemes for a reason. I don't want them to be discovered, just disrupted. But apparently to Paradox "disrupt" means disrupt the game play with a pop up paused menu as often as possible
