Hi, is it possible to stop the AI to use it ? 2 games of mine AI go nuts with full tradition.

The described feature works fine, but the problem is that the time it takes to implement it increases several times.

Breaks the game, all other AI nations will choose a different cultural pillar every single year and actually never end up with new cultural pillars because they never get to finish before the AI starts another one.

Works great for the player though.

@Goldberd_Shekelstein On paper I'm pretty sure it would, but in practice the AI rarely ever TOUCHES their culture unless they diverge or hybridize, so most of the AI cultures with more than usual are hybrid cultures

and something that would shorten the time to 10 years and 15 renewal? A year is too much of a cheat

@Ronin17 It's probably because you are a culture that is in too many provinces.

Cultures with too many counties reduces the speed in which you can adapt in new traditions.

Hey, I'd like to cut the wait time, but don't want to remove the prestige cost. COuld you share how you did that?

This mod is correctly reducing the cost of Traditions for me but they still take 15 years per tradition. Any ideas what the issue is?

Could you make it so it also removes or drastically reduces the prestige cost for culture Ethos? (Stoic, Bureaucratic etc) They're a ridiculous 20K prestige... It would be nice if they were at least 3 or 5K instead...

I usually just do trial and error honestly, activate more and more mods until it stops working

DId a new save with only this mod. It works no problem. But I have no mod that does anything to cultures or traditions and this mod is at the bottom of the list. Any idea how I can check for conflicts?

Any mod that affects traditions might have a chance at conflicting especially if it changes the speeds and cooldowns

@Reubenscoozle I believe what youre looking for is the REFORMATION_PROGRESS_GAIN_BASE value (line 970) in the 00_defines.txt file in the common/defines folder.

@Nostradamus What would be the exact thing to edit in the culture_values file to make it so that the time to implement a tradition is faster?

@Lordrezden, the mod doesn't remove the time it takes to add a tradition, it removes the cooldown before doing so. The time it takes you add the tradition is still determined by the size of your culture. If you want to establish a custom culture I suggest you diverge and then go nuts. After you diverge only very few counties should have your culture and each tradition should take around 13 months to add.

@Lehava Shadowsun it;s the base game, It happens to me whenever my heir is not an adult yet. The AI that takes over has the ability to change the currently worked on tradition for whatever reason, it's super annoying.
