Great mod! In theory. Maybe it's broken and abandoned by now, but I only get a purple translucent sign with no data at all. No matter how long I wait.

Thank you, @SharraShimada. This is a known bug in the game(!), the ModObject.SetNodeMaterial() modding function is leaking resources (which is called many times by the StorageStats mod). Game developers are aware, it has been discussed on Discord. When a new patch/version of the game is released, it should fix the problem without updating the StorageStats mod. AFAIK it 's scheduled to arrive with the release of Autonauts vs Piratebots .

I tested your mod, and i enjoyed it, but unfortunately it causes a massive memory leak. Without the mod the game consumes around 4-5GB or RAM. With your mod active it jumps to 12GB in a matter of minutes and consumes even more.

Sorry for the late answer, I received no notification about the comment.
As far as I know, it's not possible to modify the game at that level: creating a new tab or window. I've checked the modding documentation and there is nothing that would make this possible :(

Sorry to disturb you again. I'm enjoying this mod. And read about your idea about a building for the signs. What about "not-a-building". But still there. Look at the right, there is this window with the bots and groups and "pinned plans". What about a new tab for my signs and I could put them in there, always having them at hand. The idea came when my avatar was in a metal deposit just distributing the new crude metal picks. And I wanted to watch the impact on the slow metal production - which was just not possible as it was way too far away.
I would happily build some building so that this window would be accessible.

Naming the sign according to the storage seems to be easy to implement. I'll do it today.

An upcoming version will include the picture of the storage's stored stuff under the graph as a thumbnail. A more advanced version (a new "building") will have a large/huge display where multiple graphs are visible, each with the storage's stored stuff. Place one of that building to see 2x5 graph (3x4? XxY?).
Some Blender help would be great to create that model. This is only my second model in Blender and it took me forever to "finish" this model.

This helps alot. Moving some signs to the center of the base helps managing the builder team and prevents me from failures because of missing tools.
When hovering over a sign it only tells "StorageStats". Would be nice if there was the name of the storage displayed and perhaps even some summary about the last 4 mins.
I give the "helpful" price.
