Turbofreak88884444 It sounds like maybe your version of the map was downloaded when you joined a server, and it's modified somehow. Maybe removing it and redownloading would fix it.

Actually, a desert is a flat expanse of terrain.
You can't have mountains in a desert.

@Brewster T. Koopa Look up lighting by 3kliksphilip on YouTube. He gives some good examples of the light_environment. But in general, as with all things, test, test, and then test some more. You should actually make the lighting first before you do anything else, or else in the future you will be un-motivated to make the commitment to test the lighting, which is one of the most key things to making a good map.
