well i think i don't use rain hat that much not because it cost too much but because it's only 70% waterproof . it's fine when using it under canopy otherwise it's just not that good . if the rain hat stats can be adjust to be the same as rain coat it will be very useful since it has insulation too , very suitable for early spring.
