That's just how this mod goes. There is no crafting something so advanced as this ancient technology so you must salvage the Old Machines for parts. It's is the challenge as intended by this mod.

How does one make their armor? If i start with the squadron eventually I want all specialist armored droids. (I dont want to steal it and have a bunch of invisible people lying out in the world)

I checked "Required Items", there is no link, I search in the workshop aswell. There is no mod, Cant find it.

I'm able to upload again it seems, so I'm getting back into working on things again here, probably going to get back into Kenshi. Recovering from a spinal injury and also developing my own kickstarted game, so kinda busy.

Oh, I didn't know people were actually using this. Sorry about that. Was just going to set it to hidden till I could get around to finding time to make it a proper race mod instead of just an armor overlaying an invisible race.

I found a workaround!

If you copy your K2S-0 mod folder (#2183937283) from your workshop folder, paste it into your mods folder, and then rename the K2S-0's sub folder to "K2S-0 Droid", this sub mod works perfectly fine.

I'll see if I can contact the original author about his intentions for his mod. If he isn't remaking it, I'll ask about hosting it myself.

Yeah, i used it in almost all my runs, and lately i was doing a Dark Side one..

I think the description in the original mod included something about updating it to address how the character was built, but that was years ago. I guess we'll see if he decides to remake it. It'll be a shame if not.
