Valkyrja It should work with any mod, but it will not add the features to it. As long as that mod does not change the core files. Once stable is out I do plan on making a version patch to try and get the other major mods working with this one.

So you should be able to use that mod but the undies provided may not work with the edits Real Undies make.

However it seems possible to make this happen :)

stanislav_sh they should break down as you wear them. There may be a load order issue where something is overwriting what this mod does. I also have not had the chance to check up the latest update so there may be some changes I need to check out. But, they should talk damage and get dirty as well. I would lower Real Undies down as far as possible. And this will not impact modded clothing.

Aaron Jaeger - Correct, the code will only replace core clothing, I have never made a patch before for another modder's creation, It should not be hard to do, I just need to take the time to ensure they are ok with a compatibility patch. At this time I am working on another project but I will be coming back asap.

Once the game is stable, I will be doing an overhaul to include some extra clothing and I would like to create some patches for the most popular mods.

LumberingTroll , this should tear into rags and not full sheets.

Also does this allow underwear to be turned into full sheets? if not I need to find the mod that is doing that and remove it, I like tearing into rags, but not sheets.

Would be nice to have sandbox settings to change variables, rates, weight, protection value etc.

I think I might have a solution, but it's more of a guess since I'm not a modder. The problem I'm having with the color selection is that the character customization menu always wants to choose "base.underpants_black" instead of "base.underpants_white", which is the colorable one. Maybe make them different selections in the menu? Idk if that will help, but I figured I'd mention if this is a common issue.

I'm having the same issue as Artemist, but it is probably just an unstable issue. Here's to hoping the stable branch is added soon!

Depresión Severa, I am not aware of this mod, I can look into it. I will say if that mod changes anything with the base game there may be a conflict. However if it is New Custom Content it would not work as this mod only impacts the base game.

If that mod does not impact base game underclothing then this mod loaded after that one should work.

Fuyuno, This mod does not add visual damage, however if you patch or repair it will attempt to do so. Sadly it will use the patching for lower body so your brief's may render a patch on your thigh vs the garment itself. I am not skilled enough to fix this. (how ever as I learn more about modding this may be a reality one day.)

Artemist, thanks for reaching out, I think this is an unstable issue. I have this issue choosing colors for skin and hair as well. Its rare but does happen. There is nothing about the coding of this mod that should impact it.

The color picker for the underwear in character menu is bugged, it mostly disappears but reappears sometimes when you go back and forth in the menus. Do you think you can fix it? It may be a vanilla glitch though, idk. Nice mod btw.

Could be a conflict but I get an error when tearing underwear and it doesn't always remove the underwear afterwards, so it can be used for infinite cloth

Thank you Darius Wolfe for commenting! I have been playing for a few hours and have been able to do all the things. I am manly looking for new items and issues. So far I have not seen any issues.

Also I figured out how to get the 42 tag (woot woot) There is a lot going on in 42 and I am feeling inspired :)

I definitely see it in my modlist, but I haven't checked my underwear for soil or tearability yet. I'll check it on my next run (damned helicopter...)

Fuyuno yes it works, I am playing it on 42, I read that unsubscribing and resubbing can help. another way to check is to go to the workshop folder (folder 2741624820) and look in, you should see a folder 42. If you dont it is not fully updated.

Let me know if this works if not I will do more testing to get it up and running.

Well, it's good that I saved all of my B41 mods and check back on them periodically, because permanent underwear always struck me as weird.

Darius Wolfe I wanted to do that but, I cannot seem to find the way to upload with a 42 tag. The only thing I have found is a post from one of the devs saying the tag will be released once out of unstable.

I do not know the voodoo that others are using to update the tag. Once figured out, I will slap a tag on it so fast you can say "wow that was somewhat quick."

I have figured out the new mod folder structure. I am going to check all the items and if they are good I will get a b42 mod up. I do not want to make any time frames as I want it to work with no issues for all of you.

@EME just manually copy the Real Undies.txt script into the ProjectZomboid\media\scripts folder. Seems to work fine.

I love this mod. It opens up a lot of protection options via Tailoring without having to go full military or scrap armor mods. Really allows the player to earn that extra bit of protection through progression. A Corset can become the next best thing to a Bulletproof Vest with enough investment.

Just wanted to point out that Tights are treated as Long Socks in the Inspect menu, when the icon implies they should cover foot to waist. Is it possible to tweak that myself?

Here's your TweakItem function without ItemTweakerAPI.

Without ItemTweakerAPI you overwrite the complete item and causing bugs with other mods. The tweaker ADDS/Modify parts of the items, no matter if the item is modified by another mods.

You don't even need ItemTweakerAPI to do that.
