Make sure mod threading and caching are on, that's exactly what they do!
You could also try using the RRO version that's linked above! The models are sorted into bags based on the creatures size. With them split up, it should greatly reduce load times with the options listed above turned on.
If you have the above options disable due to mod loading issues, you may need to repair you C++ file through microsoft's site, you can follow this tutorial here on reddit;

Hopefully this helps!
If you're having issues with mod loading you may need to try repairing C++ redist 2012. You should be able to do this via Microsoft's website! This should solve most issues.
Turn off mod caching in the options. Should fix the issue though it will increase initial load times somewhat.Only fix until the devs release a patch, if that'll ever happen.
I can and will help wholeheartedly!!
Any chance an update will include them?
There's well over 150 models in this update, lots of these models use states! Everything from the Gemstone Dragons to new Spell Effects and even revisions to older models. Also, some new 3d rooftop models to quickly assemble top-down city street maps, they shouldn't effect dice rolls either! Plus some other goodies, should be something for everyone!
Over 30 new miniatures have been added! A few user suggestions, including the dreaded "Elder Brain Dragon".
I still have 100+ more minis in the works though, so keep an eye out for the next update!
also zombiez plz !
You'll be happy to hear that more are coming soon! Found a set of really nice archers and swordsmen.
