@A Barrel Of Spokes - Is it possible to either a) update this mod for that, or b) create a new mod that has this limit?
Even an extra 500 buildings would be useful from the 2000 original hard cap.
Imagine if there was a building cap of 2000 for the entire world.
There are more than 2000 buildings in my small town.

try more less invasive method.
File Enhancements.yaml
remove everything (you dont need all enhancements there) and just update building limits as per below example:
enhancement_building_limit_0:
!replace modifiers:
- "building_limit: 200"
File manifest.yaml
change replace: true to replace: false
This way, it's incremental import = original files (including Blue Mars DLC) will be loaded, your mod will then just alter 5 values (instead of overwriting whole enhancements file)
