@danifeliciani This is just a small config mod to bring warmer temperatures and wet rain if you are running Namalsk Survival in a summer environment. Completetly useless on its own, it needs to be run with Namalsk Survival on other maps than Namalsk Island. It sort of works on Namalsk Island too, but that also requires more overrides to change snowfall back into rain, this mod does not do that.

@ Geir go ahead, it only contains a few tweaks to scripts. Mind you I have not looked at this after the last few game and Namalsk updates so I cannot 100% guarantee it still works as intended.

I can't be sure, but in general in Namalsk Survival getting to the right spot can sometimes be difficult. Either that or some changes to Namalsk in 1.19 are causing this. I will check eventually when it is time to get my Banov server up again...

You wrote you used it on Banov. Me too, exactly the same reason, for the EVR. Now I have a question. The fireplaces are not working as normal. They don't heat you up and there is no heat buff. Now I try to find out, what causes that.

All this does is override a few scripts in Namalsk Survival to make rain wet, disable frostbite and apply warmer temperatures. It was primarily designed for my summer Banov server with Namalsk Survival (for the EVR storms...). If you actually use it with Namalsk Island you will have to find a way to change snow back into rain, since the map mod changes the rain textures to snow.

Is this supposed to (apart from everything else) disable snow and add rain, or just add rain but also with possiblity of snow?
Do you have to do anything else apart from loading the mod?

You are free to repack, and nothing will stop you from running the Namalsk events - although I don't know how the blizzard and cold weather events will interact with this mod...

No this mod overrides the config of Namalsk Survival to apply these changes. Namalsk handles weather differently than vanilla, so using cfgweather.xml is not recommended (Sumrak himself said in the Namalsk discord that results are...unpredictable).

@Derleth, are you replacing contents of cfgweather.xml with contents from cherno? or just making sur the namalsk enabled = 1?

If you're not loading it last try that. Has to be client side too. Otherwise I have no clue, it works for me.

It works for me, so most likely some other mod also messing with the same configs that gets in the way.

I comment out the Namalsk events I don't want to occur, like blizzards and snow fall. Increase the chance of EVR accordingly. Then make sure the cfgweather.xml is enabled so there will be regular weather. Namalsk events and normal weather can happen simultaneously.

how are you turning off weather for event manager?

This does nothing with the map, it is simply an override to Namalsk Survival, primarily to make it work when using it on other maps than Namalsk. So if you use it with Namalsk Island the map will look the same and rain will come down as snow.

awesome! Is this also a retexture so there is no snow? If not, do you know of a mod/map that has that?
