Here you go, it was needed to uncheck "auto smooth" checkmark from vertex data tab
Also for your case with 45 degree rotated model may be needed to apply edge split modifier, a model with it will look flat even with smooth shading
But that's still better than with smooth shading, good job
Either way, i have my own model with flat shading, it looks normal on Source, so no excuses about the engine
