Sadly this affects any height for me, i can jump off plane and land without parachute. Would be insanely good if damage would be ignored until fall height / velocity exceeds thresholds, like maybe if id jump from balcony second floor, i still could have no damage, or just slight damage on both legs only, anything higher would be lethal. So needed mod yet nowhere to exist :(

Hello is there a way to change the height? Don’t want it to be crazy high and not recurve damage but only small jumps from helicopters

Anyway, I would have dealt with it myself, but because I'm sick with depression, I don't have the strength for anything. I'm already having trouble writing my own mods, and I'm having even more trouble figuring out the extra obligations.

Here, my one mod that I've been writing for years. And I can't even do it to the fullest. I have to keep releasing updates little by little, and not as much as I'd like.

Maybe, just in Hearts of iron IV it would be immediately clear what this or that modifier/trigger is for.

I think that "(getpos player select 2)>0.6" refers to the height the script activates, so maybe just toss that bad boy to .1 or something?

as I looked in the code, the variable "NFD_preventfalldamage" is activated when the player is at a height below his height. But there are a lot of triggers, the meaning of which I do not understand, for example: "(getpos player select 2)>0.6" or "!PFD_BOOL". On the other hand, I tried to activate "NFD_preventfalldamage" for bots in Zeus, but it didn't change the picture. Eh, modding experience with hearts of iron IV doesn't help much here...

We've got this thing going on right now. Players can fly it, but Zeus, controlling the AI remotely, still takes damage from falling. Anyway, what's the idea behind this?

ah yeah, I remember the exoskeleton mod being strange. Honestly I got this made bc of halo and spartans.

How to do this, of course, I do not know, that's why I asked about the script. Since we use "jumping exoskeletons", which is frankly not compatible with ACE, we have to improvise and do kolhozhestvo (homemade improvisation)

@Blowout, I'm going to be 100% honest: I really didn't do much but post this mod as the people who truly made it I no longer have contact with. I wouldn't know the first thing about making it a module however you have my explicit consent to try if you know how!

Correction, this seems to happen exactly when I remotely control a unit in Zeus. When I'm a player myself, checked in Eden, I don't take damage from using the exoskeleton.

Ah! @Blowout I'll try my best to see if I can fix it or make a change, but I believe this is because it places you slightly above the ground, just enough for arma to hurt you but not enough to call the script. I'll make a change now!

As I checked, leg fractures and bruises do occur when using a jump exoskeleton.
