how do i make a custom folder and where do i put it? is there a good video tutorial on that?

the ragdolls are a bit too crazy like i just killed him with a pistol why was he flinged across the map

Do these mods only effect the shotgun soldiers? because they are the only ones effected

Does this work with BMCE HECU?

Its only showing for HECU Marines with shotguns. smg, medic, and squad leaders are normal. Anyone else bump into this problem.

best thing about these are that their ragdolls can be picked up when server side ragdolls are on

hang on! Found the issue. do NOT use this mod with the modified and improved hitboxes mod! Idiot me forgot that the new hitboxes overide models all together.

I am very sad, I do not know what the issue is! I have no other character manifest mods

It seems as though there is a bug where the vanilla HECU models and the modded ones appear together

The crying hecu marine in surface tension (the section with the 2 snipers) only does a t pose

all of my HECU models except for shotgunners have vanilla models.

This would go really well in Insurgency. Source engine. Takes place in the same era. Has workshop support.

it seems like most of the hecu have vanilla models and maybe one or two of them will have the modded models is there any way to fix this?

ok it fixed it by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it

just found out that while alive they have vanilla uniforms but when you gib (only works with explosives) them they have the mod on the bits

so at first the addon worked great but then after trying the woodland ones i tried to go back but after removing the woodlands one and adding back the desert one it was the woodlands one. so i unsubscribed from the woodlands one so and the ragdolls were now vanilla but a bit distorted and the npcs where also vanilla. tried verifying my files but nothing. restarted pc. made some of the distorted ragdolls go back to normal but still in vanilla but without helmets. tried to delete the vpk while playing the game and it failed to delete because it was using the vpk. idk why but it seems like the game can picks up the vpk but does not change anything. not much of an expert. but if you can make out anything from what i said then here it is. i also used the character manifest so it could be something with that. do you think removing all other black mesa addons and adding this one might fix the bug

No matter what I do it does not show up in the BMS menu. Older versions worked without a hitch...

anything but vanilla HECU is better since they look rather like cheap MW soldiers than half life marines.

@BluFor If you had already moved the vpk to the custom folder (without creating any new folder), try to Verify Integrity Game Cache and unsubscribe this mod. If it still happens, well I dunno what's causing this issue :/

I've tried that as well as a few other things but most of their uniforms are still vanilla. I can only assume it's something on my side causing this considering everyone else likes it. But I'm not sure what it could be I've tried reinstalling the game but that didn't work either.

@BluFor Hmm if you had the .vpk already moved to the custom folder, try unsubscribing this mod. See if it works.

I'm having a problem where only a quarter of the enemies are wearing the modded uniform while the other 3/4 are wearing the vanilla uniform. I've tried subscribing and manually downloading it but it still won't work. I have no other mods installed.
