What exactly is the issue with the supplies?
It is really annoying, with every update, they change the files and scripts, so that it messes up the mods again and again.

Regarding maps, it is just too much work. I don't see myself building a new one any time soon. I had just patched up the last issues with the para troopers etc. and was about to roll that out. Now I read that there are apparently new problems again.

@OHETA That it really kind of you, but I think I keep it now the way it is. If you want that map online with your added US faction, you may upload it. Just credit and you're good.

@OHETA Yes, that is possible. I'd reccomend you look up waypoint tutorials on youtube for example.

great mod, reminds me of this mod for robz realism for mowas2 where u had maps like normandy and it was about defending hq, and aalso there was this supply truck mechanic and upgrdes

@iT3RR0R I assume the files with the units got updated again in the last few patches and now the scripts refer to outdated info by now. I can't tell when I am looking into this and fixing it.

@Arkham You get two from the start, that are even marked and are mentioned in the Orders "O". You only get the option for new operators once one of them dies.

theres a bug with the Paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) units are completly in blue (skin and weapons) and you cant control them.

You can open it in the editor. When you activated the mod you can open the files in the editor or copy them from the original folder and then open them manually in the editor.

@(FHM) VortexXx i didn't realize that unit types must be scripted separately i would have thought there would be a repeater function for this exact issue.

Is there a way for me to get the files? I have no interest in re uploading your work or one uping you i would like to make changes for my own local play.

my guess was, to implement it like the Stages 1-5 and the Artillery Stage, to keep it wokring in interface.
but to du that i first must understand how that scripts of yours work generally to find a combination to implement it in a working condition into dynamic conquest, without dealing compatiblity issues to other potentional mods.
i hope i got your permission in doing so?

as soon as maybe someone else of another bigger mod community finds his time to deal with it, i would glady catch up to that and implement it in case i am able to do it with that kind of help and enough of free time.

i made an request via 2 forums if someone got a clue... the coding reminds me on old projects but if i am not shure i should not mess it up

well i would not mind if it had all this functions combined, shorting them down is not quite a problem, but i have to be certain what at least is needed to keept a script like that running. although it is like i got enough time to wait till you have time for looking into it, there is no rush or need to do it in haste, i just simply would glad to understand and implement it into a compilation, giving less advanced players a chance to use this neat options alongside others.

sadly i am not good enough to do it from scratch myself, so i have to learn from others, gladly i am fast at learning, so i hope in future you may find some time to help me out, but no pressure here! thanks for taking time to answer that fast

indeed it is not compareble to the explanaiton that have been offered
i already tried to figure it out, but due to i havent mode more than 10 years i am really not used to this kind of coding. if i could find a smaller example, of how it works i could reverse engineer it and fit together what belongs together, due to i kind of recognize some functions, but i need something for orientation so i dont mess up several times and get confues or frustrated :)

i see. i was afraid it may be far more complicated to merge it into dynamic conquest..
well maybe in time you are able to reach into something that may could help
due to like +100k code lines are only in the one file, i guess it is structured too merged to extract it without knowing what exactly belongs togehter, so i refused to just do it, knowing of the fact i 100% would miss something out and get mad trying to search for it without advice :)

@Budenzauber Sorry, but I don't have access to my computer with the mod files for the next months. Just like with other requests, I would recommend, you look up modding for the gem editor as well. But the dynamic conquests are vanilla game files and I believe the script structure in regards to those maps is different from the custom file structure. So I believe you can not just copy and paste code from a custom script and implement it. I fear you have to look into that yourself.

Trying to remeber my script structure, I think it might not be of much help anyway, since it is very cascaded and utilizes many if-else-loops. For example, it probably is connected to the players faction choice and the corresponding script that checks an area with a spawned unit to veify the faction that will then set up the menu and enemy units. So all these linked scripts only work in conjunction and I don't know what the dynamic conquest lines look like.

hello there, is it possible to replicate your preperation Time switch?
i would like to add it into a mod compilation for dynamic conquest, due to in defence missions there is not enough time to prepare, but if you change the amount of time for AI in general, you have to wait in every map the coded amount...

with such a switch it would be easily possible to have a dynamic prepare time, depending on what the user wants to deal with!

would be glad if you could help me out there, i tried to figure out by myself but there are like +100k lines per map of codes to deal with and i didn't get a clue till yet.. hope you can help me out with this more or less simple request :)

Initially I was not planning new maps, since it takes so much time. I wanted to remodel the "Field Defense 2" and add waves instead of an endless mode, but I have not gotten to it. Sorry I can not promise anything. If it was my job and I would see good money for it, or if it would be easier and quicker to generate, it would be different.

What else do you need? Sorry, but I can not give in depth support on gem-editor/sdk related stuff. It is a free mod and it is just too much time to invest, if I had do offer support to everyone.
